Top price of the day was 150gns for Mrs A Came's two-year-old piebald gelding, 'Summerhills Mouse', which was purchased by Mrs C Phillips.
Next best price was 100gns for a piebald colt sold by Mrs P Skelley to Mrs V Pearse.
There was a limited demand for meaty mares, with young foals difficult to place, and the sale achieved a 32% clearance for the 158 penned.
The next sale at Chagford is the annual sale of suckled calves on Thursday, November 28, followed by the machinery sale on Saturday, November 30.
