A Torridge takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Royal Plaice, a takeaway at The Royal Plaice, 8 Market Street, Appledore, Bideford was given the score after assessment on August 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Torridge's 50 takeaways with ratings, 33 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
