THREE members of Okehampton Judoka have enjoyed a rich vein of medals recently.

There was triple gold for Ella Percival who won the Plymouth Open, the Bristol Classic and the Bristol mini-mons in the under 12 years age group.

Darren Bostock from the club said: 'Ella's regular trips to Tamar Judo centre for extra training have paid off and her non stop attacking style coupled with regular practice with England squad members and more individual coaching proved to be too much for her opponents.'

Aidan Bostock won silver and moved up for the first time to the under 66kg weight group, U16 years age band, only losing to the British number one player by a Wazari score.

An exciting gold followed for Aiden at the Bristol Classic when he beat the England U17s number two by an Ippon.

Fellow member Mike Crowhurst now fighting at U55kg won bronze at the Plymouth Open in the U16yrs age group and fought really well against much older opposition with one narrow loss to an England squad member and another to Connor Cleave.
