AN autumn feast takes place at Chagford's Jubilee Hall on Friday, October 15 in Jubilee Hall, Chagford, where there will be a celebration of the abundance of local food and talent.

A sit-down community supper will involve people bringing food and drink to share. There are a variety of local 'acts'  to provide entertainment. Bring along a jar of your preserves for the chutney swop stall.

The event is in aid of Grow Chagford, which provides the local garden and land share scheme, plus aims to provide training, events and  community resources to support the growing, producing and eating of local food.

Entry £5, children over 5 £3, tickets on the door and from Sally's news agent. The event starts at 7pm for 7.30pm.
