CHILDREN at Spreyton School have had a busy return to school life, with a day of historical fun and their harvest service.
Children from across the Mid Moors Federation took part in Tudor Days with everyone dressing up in Tudor costumes from peasants to Henry VIII.
Activities included making ruffs and Tudor roses, designing a banqueting table and preparing a presentation about Tudor fashion. Pupils now have a visit to St Nicholas Priory in Exeter to look forward to.
The school held its harvest service on Tuesday, October 8 at St Michael's Church. Joined by the Rev Paul Seaton-Burn. Harvest offerings were later donated to the Okehampton Foodbank.
