HELP is at hand for anyone thinking of starting their own business in the Okehampton area.

BIP — a not-for-profit company which supports small and medium sized businesses — is running a series of four workshops in Okehampton, entitled 'Steps to a Successful Business Start Up'.

BIP managing director Stewart Horne said: 'These workshops are invaluable for people who decide self-employment is for them and will give them the tools to turn an idea into a business plan.'

The weekly workshops will be held at Okehampton Business Centre between March 3 and March 24.
