THE teachers and children of Year 3 at Okehampton Primary School enjoyed stepping back in time recently — as far back as the Stone Age.

By exploring artefacts and features, as well as performing a drama full of fun facts and Stone Age weaponry, the children discovered history up close and personal.

They will continue to learn about the Neolithic era of the Stone Age before demonstrating their expertise and knowledge by designing and making a 'Stone Age Facts' board game.
