Teignmouth U15s 29
Okehampton U15s 10
TEIGNMOUTH started well and put Okehampton under pressure, a story that continued for most of the first half.
The opening try came from a well worked move in the Teignmouth midfield with a well timed inside pass and run. Okehampton managed to keep the home team at bay until a short penalty allowed Teignmouth to take advantage of some poor tackling and increase their lead. Okehampton's only chance in the first half was a breakout from defence by Matt Johns, but without enough support the chance went begging.
The second half was a more even affair as Okehampton kept the ball in the forwards and started to put pressure on Teignmouth in the loose with strong running from Thomas White and Lee Hughes, Johns making tackle after tackle.
The pressure paid off as a poor clearance kick allowed Johns to go over for Okehampton's first try. But the Teignmouth pace out wide was always a factor and a good kick and chase by their wing added to their lead and poor tackling from the restart allowed another soft try for the home side.
Okehampton kept with their forward game and were rewarded with a try by Hughes but another try for Teignmouth gave them a convincing win.

Exeter Saracens U12s 7
NORTH/OKES started the game aggressively with their usual set of forwards chasing the kick-off. Saracens defended well, but some strong running fro Rhys Palmer feeding out to Ross Voaden, who stepped inside his opponent to cross the line, brought the first of two tries. George Courtier converted.
Marcus Hoddinott had another storming game at scrum half, as did Jack Davey, who came on in the second half, and side stepped four players, but was brought down just short of the line.
A great team effort left Saracens unable really to get into the game.
