THIS weekend sees the start of Okehampton Camera Club's annual exhibition.

From Saturday, September 21 this year's exhibition will be staged in the Arts Gallery in Red Lion Yard.

The exhibits will include many local photographs, including scenes of Dartmoor, wildlife and bird photographs and some creative contemporary photographs.

All the exhibits are for sale, ready framed. The exhibition lasts for two weeks.

The club's next meeting is on Monday, September 23. This will look at street photography from its beginning, and especially the work of Vivian Maier, with an open discussion and appraisal by club members, who next month will show their own interpretations of street photography.

Meetings start at 7.30pm in the All Saints Church Hall on Market Street. For full details of the club's activities for the coming season visit http://www.okehamptoncameraclub.co.uk">www.okehamptoncameraclub.co.uk
