FIRE crews were called to tackle a vehicle on fire in Sampford Courtenay last Thursday.

Two crews from North Tawton and Okehampton attended the incident at 10.16am, in which a vehicle was on fire in close proximity to a property.

The small fire in the engine compartment was out on the crews' arrival. The cause was believed to be accidental.
