TWO fire crews were sent to reports of a vehicle on fire at North Risdon, Jacobstowe last Thursday evening (September 10).

On arrival, the crews found a telehandler on the roadway well alight. They used one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus sets to tackle the fire. Compressed air foam was also used.

The telehandler was left destroyed by the fire, which was believed to have been accidental.
