TWO youngsters from Halwill are gearing up for their roles and prince and princess for the Halwill Gala Week, starting this weekend.

Seven-year-old Haydn Bath and five-year-old Kelsey Bath (pictured right) will be the prince and princess for the week of activities. The event kicks off on Saturday with a walking carnival followed by the official gala week opening at 2.30pm at Halwill Parish Hall by Jack and Mary Parsons. Throughout the afternoon there will be children's games, the annual egg throwing competition and a penalty shoot out competition. Other activities throughout the week include badminton sessions on July 22 and a treasure hunt on July 23.
