SOUTH Zeal Pre-School will be holding an open evening for parents at the Victory Hall on Monday, January 27.

The evening is open to anyone interested in their child attending a pre-school setting in the area. The pre-school offers Ofsted-registered care and education for three to five year olds for up to 15 hours a week, with places free at the school.

The pre-school aims to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age, in a parent-involving, community-based group. They aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment and curriculum within a framework that promises equality of opportunity for all children and families.

The evening will also be a great opportunity for parents of children attending the pre-school to come and have a chat with the pre-school leaders, committee members and each other.

Parents will have the chance to find out about the pre-school garden, trips to Lovaton Farm, the Okey Cokey play centre and the Miniature Pony Centre, pick up a prospectus or register.

Sessions run Mondays from 9am to 11.30am, and 12.30pm to 3.30pm, and Tuesdays to Fridays from 9am to noon for children aged three to five in South Zeal and the wider Okehampton area.
