CASTLE Drogo held their annual vintage car rally last weekend, with a good turnout despite the weather.

As well as a display of classic cars, there was a 'Dad's guide to gardening' for Father's Day, and a beer, cider and apple juice tasting.

Among the cars on show was a Hillman Minx originally owned by Mary Drewe, daughter of Julius and Frances Drewe, who owned Castle Drogo.

The car had been garaged from 1982 until its rediscovery in 2008.

The car was being displayed at the rally for the first time, following a three-year rebuild and renovation project.
