THE North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team based in Okehampton is looking for volunteers, to help with both rescues and administrative duties.

The organisation is looking for suitably adventurous people to join the rescue team. They need to be at least 18, be reasonably fit and have the time to complete a comprehensive training programme. Successful applicants will be offered a place in the team on satisfactory completion of training.

They will then be expected to be available 24/7 for callout to incidents on and around Dartmoor. More information can be found on the website http://www.ndsart.org.uk">www.ndsart.org.uk

The group also needs a volunteer to record the minutes of the management committee meetings which are held one evening each month.
