THE Devon Air Ambulance Trust is looking for volunteers to keep its helicopters in the air.
The trust is the charity which raises the funds to keep two emergency air ambulances flying.
This is no small feat as each and every year we have to raise in the region of £4.5 million to keep both of the helicopters airborne.
Our vision for Devon is an outstanding, independent and efficient air ambulance service, available to all, 24 hours a day
Our mission is to relieve sickness and injury in and around the county of Devon by assisting in the provision of an Air Ambulance Service Our fantastic family of volunteers are an invaluable part of our fundraising team and the backbone of the Charity. They ensure we remain truly rooted in the community we serve.
Volunteers' roles are extremely varied, which means there is something to suit everyone.
For example you could help in one of our charity shops, attend events, service our collection boxes in your area or give talks on the work of the charity/service.
If you would like to donate the gift of time, please contact Rosey Oakes our volunteers' support officer on 01392 466666 or email her at [email protected]">[email protected]
