RENOWNED comedian Tony Hawks, who opened the 2013 Chagford Film Festival, is to return to Chagford on January 18 for a festival warm-up event.

Tony will be back at Chagford's Jubilee Hall to show his film 'Round Ireland with a Fridge', followed by a question and answer session. There will also be Irish music and a licensed bar.

The event is being held in aid of festival funds.

Mr Hawks opened the 2013 festival by introducing his film Playing the Moldovans at Tennis.

The feel-good film tracks Tony's quest to beat the Moldovan football team at tennis.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets cost £12 from Sally's Newsagents or the Globe.
