WE are very lucky in Okehampton we have butchers, bakers, but, alas, we have no candlestick makers!
Perhaps someone could take over one of the many empty shops in the town. Its got to be a good business strategy, The candle shop.
Maybe South Western Power might light to sponsor such a business. Well, lets face it, weve had at least five power cuts now, within the past three weeks, and we are still in the summer season, no floods to rock the boat. To put it lightly, Im dreading winter.
I should imagine that the local hardware shops are getting fed up with the old Ronnie Barker gag, fork handles, please or was it four candles?
Oh, by the way, I had to wait for the power to come back on before I could write this!
