OKEHAMPTON Acoustic Club is to hold its winter concert on Saturday, December 12 in the Ockment Centre.
Headlining the concert is Gillie Nichols, a former singer and songwriter with the Albion Band.
Also performing on the night are solo guitarist Martin Bell and club founders Troubadour’s Garden. The concert starts at 7pm.
The club was formed in February 2012 with the intention of promoting good local music and attracting high quality artists from further afield. Since its inception the club has hosted dozens of bands and solo performers, many playing their own original material with styles ranging from folk to jazz and R and B.
