Young dancers from the Okehampton Community Dance Project have benefited from £1,032 from the Okehampton United Charity.
Charity clerk Karen Percival visited the project recently to present the cheque. She is pictured left with the children and Lynne Rogers and Ellodie Stott from the dance charity.
The Okehampton Community Dance Project works with children who love to dance but are put off by a more formal dance school. Its motto is ‘passion before perfection’.
The project meets on Friday afternoons in the Ockment Centre between 3.40pm and 7pm. Contact [email protected] to find out more.
