BRAVE pets could be rewarded thanks to vets and members of the public in Okehampton.

Each month, Okeford Vets nominate an animal who they believe has shown outstanding bravery throughout their treatment, and it is now up to the public to decide which animal deserves the overall Braveheart Award for 2010.

The winner will be awarded with the Katie Bater memorial cup and a framed picture of the brave pet.
