OKEHAMPTON Medical Centre is setting up a patient participation group to find out the thoughts and opinions of those that use the surgery.

The meeting will offer patients the chance to find out more about how their local GP practice works, and potentially influence the development of local health services.

Dr Vile will be giving a talk about the centre, with Dr Watson discussing the changes taking place in the NHS.

Practice manager Alison Shelton will discuss the nature of the group, and how the practice is looking to interact with patients about their experience at the centre.

The meeting takes place at Castle Ham Lodge from 6.30pm today (Thursday).

If you would like to come along to the meeting or if you have any queries about the participation group please call Alison Shelton on 01837 52233.
