OKEHAMPTON Argyle first team begin their pre-season friendlies this Saturday with a home match against South West Peninsula premier division side Bovey Tracey, kick-off 3pm. This is followed by a home friendly for Argyle Reserves against local rivals North Tawton with a 5.30pm kick-off. The first team have some other interesting friendly matches lined up with a visit from Hampshire Premier League side Overton United, an away match at Western League Barnstaple Town, an away match at Devon and Exeter Premier side Seaton Town and a home match against SWP West division newcomers Illogan Royal British Legion. The Reserves are still arranging their friendlies and these will be announced shortly. Meanwhile training continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Simmons Park from 7pm till 8.30pm for all players interested in playing for the club.
