THE match saw strong tackling coming from the home side, and it was not long until the pressure paid off with two quick goals for Bridgwater.

An understrength Okehampton battled well, and answered back with a goal from Rowan Perrior, who coolly flicked the ball over the keeper into the back of the net after great work from Simon Bourne. However Bridgwater scored two more goals soon after the second half had began.

The ever youthful Mark Bingham and Ian Miller both needed treatment and as 'the battle' continued the visitors were determined to get back into the game. Okehampton worked their way through their opponents annd Mark Bingham passed the ball into the D resulting in a goal for Simon Bourne. In the dying minutes Oke tried but just could not find the back of the net! Special praise to the great defending by Scott Bending, John Jarvis and Zac Middleton.

Man of match for Oke was Hayden Bond who had an outstanding game making several good saves and blocks, to keep his side in the game.
