CHAGFORD Cricket Club has three teams in the Devon league this year and will be playing 18 games on Saturday afternoons from May through to the end of August — ten at home.

Home, for these games will actually be in Spreyton on Saturdays as guests of the Spreyton Cricket Club which no longer uses the pitch on Saturdays.

Chagford is intent upon building a bridge from junior cricket to the senior game for its younger players and encourage those unable to commit for a whole season, but who would like an occasional game.

Players may also have the opportunity to participate in training evenings through the summer, with coaching available. The club hopes to improve individuals' skills on the field.
