OKEHAMPTON Golf Club's Dartmoor League squad celebrated their league victory at the annual league presentation.

Held at the club they were presented with the Peter Pearman Memorial Trophy.

Centenary club captain David Warren congratulated the team on a magnificent league victory which means they retain their title as Dartmoor League champions.

The club have now won the Dartmoor League in 2004, 2012 and 2013.

Needing to secure l½ points going into the final fixture to avoid relegation the team's fighting spirit and never give up attitude came to the fore with an incredible 5-0 victory away at Bigbury catapulting Okehampton Golf Club to the top of the league one table and the championship.

This was an excellent and well deserved result for everyone involved in the 2013 season.
