OKEHAMPTON Golf Club professional Ashley Moon hosted a pro's day competition last weekend.

This consisted of a four ball better ball stableford on holes 1 – 6, greensomes stableford on holes 7 – 12 and a foursomes stableford on holes 13 – 18.

The winners with a magnificent 47 points were Jonny Rattenbury and Will Searle. Second place went to Mike Lang and Geoff Fidler with 44 points.

In third position were Matt Soby and Paul Prouse with 43 points on the back nine from Alan Grimshaw and Mike Davis in fourth.

Nearest the pin prizes were given on all par 3s along with various other spot prizes. A large raffle was also run and first prize went to Richard Reid who took home a Cobra S3 driver.
