OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held its captain's drive-in and captains Shot-Gun competition last month, where a full field competed in this popular annual event in lovely spring sunshine.

Overall team winners of the competition were Paul Rattenbury, Matt Soby and Paul Prouse.

2012 club captain John Haley, lady captain Lin Atkinson, seniors' captain Mick Curran and junior captain Jack Cornwall all drove off the first tee in front of a supportive 'boisterous' crowd.

Members and guests enjoyed a lunch which was followed by the annual presentation of silverware, where the winners of the 2011 season were recognised for their achievements.
