OKEHAMPTON Argyle started the season and improved their match fitness with a friendly against St Martin's. The Exeter side won 3-0.

Pictured before the game a cheque for £350 was presented by Okehampton town mayor Cllr the Rev Mike Davies to club chairman David Weekes with Jim Burdus, Pete Carter and Steve Ausden assistant manager. The money, a grant from Okehampton Town Council will go towards the club's training equipment.
