HATHERLEIGH thirds forged a decent score by knocking up 205-7 — thanks to two batting contributions in particular — Kirt Forgham with 77 and Niall Leahy on 73. They were contained by the Bridestowe bowlers, Lee Jutson 3-30 and Dave Joplin 3-41.

Despite losing a few wickets Bridestowe gradually overcome the chasing total by responding with 208-6. Leading the charge was Neil Griffiths with a fine 106 and Tim Shaw with 39.
