HATHERLEIGH Cricket Club have started indoor net sessions in preparation of the forthcoming season.

They will be held at Shebbear College Sports Hall on Monday evenings on March 9, 16 and 23.

The sessions are from 6pm until 7pm for ladies/girls only and 7pm until 9pm for men/colts.

There is a small charge per person to cover the hire of the hall. Existing and new members are welcome — all standards and both young and old.   After the sessions have finished, training will continue outside on a Tuesday night starting at 6pm at the club's Holsworthy Road cricket ground.

Hatherleigh Cricket Club has two Saturday Devon League teams and two Sunday North Devon League teams. There is also opportunity to play in friendly touring sides and in a local 20/20 local village cup competition during the week.
