ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in idyllic conditions a large field of players entered the April Stableford for the Anniversary Niblick.

The winner of division one and the Annivesary Niblick with 43 points was Darren Prouse. Second place went to Malcolm Hill with 37pts and in third with 36pts was Steve Browne. Division two was won by Richard Johnson with 37pts and Kerry Skinner was second with 34pts. Russell Bowden took third place after countback with 33pts. Philip Hawking was the winner of division three with 35pts on the back nine from, in second Peter Howell. James Stacey took third position with 34pts.

In the ladies' section Marcia Jones and Marcia Collett are through to the next round of the Doris Willes Little competition after beating Wrangaton at Yelverton.
