THE Dartmoor Radio Sailing Club held an open day at their lakeside venue of Shaugh Lake, near Cadover Bridge, on Saturday.

A wide selection of high tech sailing yachts was on display together with a static display of model boats and a range of radio control equipment, including some early examples in the pre-transistor era.

Many of the visitors had the opportunity to try their hand at sailing the boats on the slalom course and the speed course, and everyone enjoyed a day of gentle winds and sunshine.
