MEMBERS of Okehampton Rugby Club were at Twickenham last month for the England v France match in the Six Nations Cup.
The RFU in conjunction with main sponsors RBS had invited clubs to send representatives to the ground prior to the match to have their photographs taken with the Six Nations trophy. The club were also honoured with the name of 'Okehampton Rugby Club' emblazoned on one of the steps.
Colts team coach Phil Friend said: 'I just want to say what an absolutely fabulous experience we had - being taken into an empty Twickenham Stadium, shown where the step was and having our photos taken with the real RBS Six Nations trophy.
'A couple of the men took things to the limit and held the trophy aloft for their pictures, though not for long because it was rather heavy!'
