Devon and Exeter three
Lympstone 0
South Zeal Utd 0
ON a mud bath of a pitch South Zeal dominated both halves at Lympstone on Saturday but could not produce the goal to give them the win they deserved.
For most of the first half it seemed only a matter of time before Zeal would take the lead but a series of near misses and a disallowed goal when Darren Gilbert was given off side after he was put through by Stuart Entwistle let the home side off the hook.
However Lympstone were always dangerous on the break and on several occasions Reg Wonnacott saved the visitors from going behind with some good goalkeeping.
The second half was much like the first as Harley Cann and Graham Soby went close and Stuart Entwistle hit the post but the breakthrough would not come and in the end South Zeal had to settle for the draw and one point.
