On Saturday Okehampton Golf Club held a four ball team two to count Stableford competition.

Despite a keen wind and a nip in the air, the sun was shining and a good number of competitors took part.

The worthy winners, way out in front with a good score of 88 points, were Richard Johnson, Martin Cox, Colin Cornwall and Mark Curtis.

Second place went to the team consisting of Nick Heath, Rod Wright, Trevor Parker and Ray Stevens with 83pts.

Third position went to Neil Penfold, John Flavin, Matthew Flavin and Richard Goodger with 82 pts on the back nine from in fourth, John Haley, Paul Douglas, Stephen Tonge and Rod Milsom Smith.
