AFTER two months of painstaking work from countless volunteers, Okehampton Argyle have completed their clubhouse and changing room renovations.

The clubhouse, a project led by first team player Dale Chadwick, has been completed almost entirely by volunteers with generous donations of time, materials and sponsorship from a variety of local businesses.

All of these sponsors and businesses were invited to the opening of the clubhouse, which boasts a new fully stocked bar and Sky TV, last Saturday for the game against Sidmouth.

Club chairman Stuart Cann on completion of the renovations told Times Sport: ‘We are grateful to all of the local businesses and people who have contributed to this project which has been really successful. We look forward to welcoming many local residents in to the bar to join our new social club and hopefully watch a historic season for both of our senior teams!’
