PLAYERS from Callington Town’s past and present turned out in force to take part in a memorial friendly match to commemorate the life of club stalwart Richard Pridham in the annual encounter.

On a very hot morning, the sides, mixing players from the club’s four men sides and the Ladies, together with past players, enjoyed a 2-2 draw before the present team won a penalty shootout.

A quick collection around the ground during the game raised over £100 for the British Heart Foundation.

For the records, the present team scored through Jodie Shipton and Gemma Farley while the ex players got their goals through James Yates and Sam Stevens.
