Exmouth Amateurs thirds 0
CHAGFORD Reserves started excellently and took the game to their visitors. Wayward finishing then allowed Ammies to play their way back and Chagford were indebted to goalkeeper Matt Jackson for three stunning saves, keeping the first half goalless.
The second half followed a similar pattern, although the hosts were able to turn up the pressure that eventually led to a goal. In the 70th minute, Parker fluffed his clearance, the ball dropping kindly for Kes Hirst to coolly slot the ball home.
Still Chagford pressed and were rewarded 12 minutes later when Dan Stone rose to head home Snell’s great corner kick. This knocked the stuffing out of the Ammies and there was to be no way back for them.
