OKEHAMPTON Argyle seconds returned to winning ways this week with a 4-2 victory away at Culm United.

A much changed team made a slow start when a sloppy back pass left stand in goalkeeper, Rhys Mellor Bond, with no chance against the Culm number nine.

Argyle responded quickly and were soon back on level terms after a neat interchange of passing saw the ball arrive at the feet of Freddy Lawrence who poked it home. However, more defensive sloppiness saw Culm beat the offside trap to take the lead just before half-time.

Okehampton fought bravely after the break and again equalised when Declan Grimshaw received a pass from Steve Madge and fired past the Culm keeper.

Argyle would not surrender the lead again and went ahead for the first time in the match when Josh Tickner curled home from 25 yards. With five minutes to go, Grimshaw sealed the win with his second when his cross evaded everyone to nestle in the top corner.
