OKEHAMPTON left Simmons Park very disappointed on Saturday after a game they felt they could and should have won.

The season so far has been much of a rearguard action for Argyle and the defensive side of the game went reasonably well, although two goals were still conceded. It’s going forward where the team struggled and where more will be required in the coming games if Okehampton are to avoid relegation.

Reece Foster added to his season’s tally however, apart from that, very little was created.

In general, performances have improved over the last four to five weeks and Okehampton feel they just need to get a couple of wins under their belts to get up and running again.

Next week sees an away trip for Argyle to Topsham, who are only one place above Okehampton, so this game offers a good chance to start the process.
