ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club an individual Stableford Competition took place.

The winner of division one with 42 points was Lewis Parry; in second place with 40 was Del Owen and Evan Rees on 38.

The division two winner was Paul Rogers with 42pts, in second Aaron West on 37 winning on the back nine from Roger Slack in third place.

The winner of division three was Dave Grimes with 43pts , in second on 42 Matt Parry and in third Russell Bowden with 40.

The club is holding an open day this Sunday from 11am and everyone is welcome.

There will be the opportunity for golfers to play a few holes and also the chance to 'have a go' even if you're a complete beginner and holding a golf club for the very first time.
