OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held an individual stableford competition for its centenary trophy on July 15.

The winner of division one and the trophy was Jay Carroll with 41 points. After count back Pete Murphy was second, Stuart Tolley third, Rob Green fourth and Steve Peake fifth, all achieving 39 points.

Division two was won by Russell Bowden with 40 points, followed in second place was Paul Ayris with 39 points, Fred Cook in third with 38 points and Ron Copeland took fourth place with 36 points.

Bob Jones won division three with 39 points; Jonathan Tatman was second with 37 points on the back nine from, in third Allen Deakin and Alan Jeffrey was fourth with 36 points.

A total of 31 players competed in the seniors July stableford which was won by Keith Harvey with 42 pts. Second was John Ripley on 39pts beating with a better back nine holes Rod Milsom-Smith who shared the same score.
