SIXTEEN year-old Okehampton golfer Peter Howell qualified to play in the Junior European Open finals tournament in Andalusia, Spain over the week of November 26.

After a stormy four rounds Peter finished in 47th place in a field of more than 100 of Europe’s best under 18 golfers. Peter is a member of Okehampton and Exeter golf clubs and is a student at Exeter Golf Academy.

He has ambitions to become a touring pro and his experience on the international stage has been another step in his development.
