SUNDAY, October 26 saw Finals' Day taking place at Okehampton Golf Club. This was followed by the annual presentation of silverware to all winners throughout 2014 to recognise their golfing achievements.

Club captain Adrian Tilley said: 'Finals' Day was a great way to showcase the achievements of players across several key competitions. All the finals were fought in good spirit and generated some fine golf.

'The clubhouse was packed afterwards for the presentation of all the club prizes, providing a fitting end to the season. Well done to all participants and winners and we look forward to another keenly fought set of competitions next year.'

Finals' Day winners were: Tony Fisher, the Brown Can; Evan Rees winning the Beardall Cup; Lewis Parry, the Sharp Salver; Evan Rees and Del Owen won the Drew Bowl; Paul Prouse, the Kennard Summer Cup; Gareth Holt, the Ian Cook Matchplay Trophy; Alan Jones and Michelle Widdows, the Luxmore Cup, Arnie and Will Searle, the Radcliffe Cup.
