DAVID Glover from the charity Shelterbox visited Okehampton Golf Club this week. 

Past lady captains Jenni Hutchinson and Lin Atkinson raised the £600 needed to purchase the club's very own ShelterBox.   Once the box is deployed, Shelterbox will advise its location, helping people around the world who have been left with virtually nothing due to war and natural disasters.

Presenting the cheque to David is Jenni Hutchinson together with club secretary Beverley Lawson and lady vice captain Val Dodsworth.
