THE Hatherleigh Primary School netball team took part in the county netball tournament at Exeter University representing West Devon. 

It was a great day and an excellent opportunity for the girls, giving them a taste of the future.

The team, coached by Lynn Strawbridge and Tracey Emery, had an excellent season and won the West Devon finals in Okehampton to secure their place in the tournament. 

Headteacher Caroline Boother said everyone concerned is proud of their achievements.
