AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday a medal competition for the Brian Adams Salver (best scratch) and the Bill Webber Bowl (best handicap) was played. With the course in superb condition some excellent golf was achieved. The winner of division one was John Flavin with nett 63. In second with a superb gross score of 68 nett 64 was Ian Moore, who also secured the Brian Adams Salver; third place went to Martyn Cox with a nett 66 on the back nine from, in fourth, Dave Bickle. Division two and the Bill Webber Bowl were won by Matthew Flavin with an excellent nett 58. Second place went to Will Kinkead with nett 64 and third place to Sam Woollacott with nett 65. The winner of division three was Matthew Parry with a good nett score of 59. In second place was Dennis Edwards with nett 64 on the back nine from, in third Fred Scott-Lawson.
