AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday in beautiful Autumnal conditions a three ball two to count Stableford competition was held.
The winners of division one with 85 points were Paul Rogers, Russell Bowden and Andy Dyer. Second place was awarded to Alan Mann, Graham Moysey and Pete Murphy with 79 points on the back six from, in third Rod Wright, Mark Curtis and Trevor Parker.
Division two was won by Tony Fisher, Sean Bennett and Ashley Arscott with 77. Matt Flavin, John Flavin and Richard Goodger were second with 76, with Ron Copeland, Mike Davis and Graham Harding on 75.
The ladies' section played a four ball better ball competition for the Jarman Bowl. The winners with a splendid 41 points were Pam Jarman and Abby Turner.
Second were Cherry James and Mary Keir with Jane Warren and Sue Stanbury coming third.
On Sunday Oke hosted a mixed friendly match against Yelverton where Okehampton won 5 -2. Also on Sunday the finals of the Family Foursomes competition was held.
After a nail biting round Barry Down and Sue Stanbury just managed to beat their opponents Dave Chammings and Nick Godfrey on the 18th hole.
