ON a sweltering bank holiday Monday there was a bumper turn out for the 16th running of the Peter Tavy Plod.
The race turned out to be a triumph for youth with both the men’s and women’s races won by junior athletes, Euan Dix and Molly Shorey.
Over a tough moorland course athletes across the age spectrum from 12 to 70 took on the challenge of this ever popular run with spectacular views across West Devon.
With support from the Peter Tavy Inn, the race gave medals to all competitors and prizes in numerous categories with all proceeds going to charity.
